Brief
This stunning 2015 cliff-top house is the jewel in a string of 1950's and 60's style-houses . The design with its gull-wing roof form, curved stone planters and concrete patio is inspired by the architecture of this period. The ziggurat linear plan, was generated by the wish to enjoy beautiful views of the Manukau to the south, and the need to allow light to enter from the north.
Exterior cladding - vertical cedar shiplap, cedar ply soffits, coloursteel roofing. Internal finishes include vertical shiplap cedar walls and Fijian kauri ply ceilings.
